R.S. Restorations

End User License Agreement

Effective November 5, 2026

This agreement is between you and R.S. Restorations and covers the shop software at rsrbuilds.com. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information in that software is handled.

The agreement

The software (the “App”) is the system the shop uses to run classic car and truck builds: clients, vehicles, quotes, invoices, agreements, time, parts, photos, and the client portal.

By signing in, opening a client link, or otherwise using the App, you agree to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

The shop grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for the shop’s restoration work. This is a license to use the App. It is not a sale, and it does not give you ownership of the App, its design, or its code.

Crew members may use the App only with an account the shop issued. Clients may use the parts of the App the shop opens with a private link, such as the client portal, a payment page, or an agreement to sign.

Accounts and links

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell the shop if you think someone else is using it.

A client portal, payment, or signature link is a credential. Do not post it publicly or send it to anyone who should not see that job.

The shop may refuse, suspend, or close an account, and may retire a link, when access is no longer needed or this agreement is broken.

Your records

Clients, vehicles, photos, messages, quotes, invoices, signed agreements, time entries, and the other records entered in the App stay the shop’s business records and the records of the people who provided them. This license does not move ownership of those records to anyone else. The shop keeps them to do the work, bill for it, and meet its record-keeping duties.

A build agreement, quote, or invoice you sign in the App is a separate contract for that job. This license does not change the price, scope, or warranty written on that document.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App to break the law, or to harm the shop, a client, or a crew member
  • attempt to open an account, job, or link that was not issued to you
  • probe, scan, or disrupt the App, or bypass a sign-in or permission check
  • copy, resell, or sublicense the App
  • reverse engineer the App except where the law does not allow that limit
  • upload malware, or content you do not have the right to store
  • use the App to send unsolicited commercial messages

Payments and other services

Card payments are processed by Stripe. The shop does not store full card numbers in the App. Accounting may sync with QuickBooks, crew time may sync with Square, and email may go through Resend or a mailbox the shop connected. Receipt images may be sent to OpenAI when the shop has turned that reading on. Those services have their own terms. The shop is not responsible for an outage or error that belongs to one of them.

Changes and availability

The shop may change the App, including adding or removing a feature. The shop may also update this agreement by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using the App after that date, you accept the update. If you do not accept it, stop using the App and ask the shop to close your account.

The App is provided for the shop’s daily work. The shop does not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, the shop disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the shop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the App. For a claim that is only about the App, and not about restoration work described in a signed quote, invoice, or agreement, the shop’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid the shop to use the App in the three months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you paid nothing. Some states do not allow these limits. In those states they apply only as far as the law allows. This section does not limit liability for gross negligence, fraud, or a duty the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending access

You may stop using the App at any time. The shop may end or suspend this license if you break it, or when your work with the shop ends. The sections on records, the disclaimer, the limit on liability, and governing law stay in effect after access ends.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the state where the shop’s principal place of business is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state are the venue for a dispute about this agreement, except where the law requires another venue.
